I know you other Mummas can relate. 7:30 this morning, child #1 has a big meltdown over something that was minor to us but a big deal to him. *insert Console* 7:45 - boys shoes, socks, oils, pack bags, leaving in 15 mins. 8:00 - in the car. Boys got your lunch box, water bottle, brain back etc... child #2 " Oh wait... I forgot my candy canes and Christmas cards" *runs back inside to get them* Note: It takes 20 mins to get to school and they boys like to be there at 8:20 because bell rings at 8:30. Get half to town, as we oiling up, doing yet another 'verbal checklist' - I don't my kids to well. Me " Got your swimming bag Piper?" piper "Oh no.. its home?" sigh.. rings Dad, "you coming to town in the next hour?" Nope hes not. So turn around back we come home, like the gingerbread man, as fast as we can. Grab swimming and arrive just in time for school. phew I help at school on a Wednesday morning with school banking, i walk around
