Tips for surviving Christmas

HERE ARE MY TIPS FOR THRIVING THIS CHRISTMAS...

Diffuse, diffuse, diffuse.  Never doubt the power of an uplifting or calming aroma in a room.  You have magic at your fingertips with these little bottles of oils.   When the kids are running on a candy cane fuelled sugar high reach for the calming oils like Holiday Peace, Balance, Copaiba, Cedarwood or Frankincense to assist them (and you)  in regaining some self control.  When you are nervous about mixing eclectic family and friends for the annual get together reach for the uplifting oils like Holiday Joy, citruses and florals.

A quick rule of thumb when working out whether an essential oil is an uplifting or a calming oil is that the faster they drip the more happy they’ll make you feel, the slower they drip the calmer and more focussed they will make you feel.

Take your Life Long Vitality supplements.  It is easy to wear yourself thin in the lead up to Christmas and the last thing you need to is to get run down.  Keep your energy levels high and your body well supported with the VMz, xEOmega and CRS nutritional complex.  These supplements are amazing.  They have a 30 day money back guarantee, so if you haven’t already tried (and loved) them, do it!  You have nothing to lose and lots to gain!

Get some rest.  You need restorative sleep if you want to sanely navigate your way through Christmas.  Use the Serentity restful complex softgels (available from the US warehouse) and Lavender Peace at night to help you sleep.  It can sometimes be hard to switch off your brain when you have a To Do List as long as Santa’s naught and nice list!  The oils honestly help.  Try taking 2 Serenity restful complex softgels 30 minutes before bed.  Set your diffuser running at the same time so that by the time you go into the bedroom to sleep the air is gently laced with sedating oils that will help you find the land of nod in no time.

Take time to smell the roses... or the frankincense.  When you start to feel as though you are becoming overwhelmed or anxious, place 1 drop of a calming essential oil in the palm of your hand and rub together.  Cup your hands over your nose and mouth and breathe deeply.  Centre yourself in the moment. Allow the aroma to infiltrate your senses and feel your body soften and relax as the oil works in the limbic system of your brain to soothe your central nervous system.  Continue to breathe in the aroma until you feel more prepared to deal with the situation in front of you.
If you need extra support you may like to try placing one drop of dōTERRA frankincense or copaiba under your tongue.

Beat the Bloat. When ever you head out to a Christmas or New Years party make sure you have some Digestzen digestive blend in your bag.   After over indulging in fatty delicious rich party foods or too many chardonnays, your belly will thank you for it.  You can apply Digestizen topically where ever you are feeling the discomfort or if you don’t want to smell like aniseed at your party, pop 2 drops in a little shot of water and throw it down the hatch.

Love your Liver.  When you get home from said Christmas or New Years party, if you have celebrated with a few glasses of bubbly or cocktails.. put 2 drops of Zendocrine in a capsule or a shot of water and swallow.  Follow it with a glass or two of water to help with rehydration.  Your liver will appreciate the Zendocrine detox support.   If feeling seedy the next morning, repeat both Zendocrine and Digestzen and rest.   Use this rest time to watch soppy day time movies and lounge in your pyjamas until you feel well enough to shower and rejoin the world.
